Privacy policy
The company identified in the legal notice, incorporated in Hong Kong, is the data user under Hong Kong’s Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) and the controller under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 for people in the European Economic Area. This page also covers California residents’ rights under the CCPA and the CPRA. Contact: the contact page.
We may process name, email, phone, shipping address, billing country, order contents, language, currency, messages sent through the contact form and reviews, and events stored on our own server: a product view, an add to cart, the start of checkout, a purchase, and a view of the fit guide.
We do not use advertising pixels. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Stripe receives the payment data and the address needed for tax. The seller does not keep the card number.
Contract is the basis for handling the order, delivery, and service related to that order. Legal obligation is the basis for tax and accounting records. Legitimate interests are the basis for fraud prevention and for service emails about the order: confirmation, a shipping notice, a fit note about two days after delivery, and a single note around four months about a worn sleeve. There is no newsletter, and no consent box is ticked in advance.
Orders and invoices are kept for seven years, unless an applicable law requires another period. A review is kept while it is published, and for a short time after it is taken down.
Stripe and email delivery may process data in the United States and in Hong Kong. For personal data from the European Economic Area, a transfer uses an adequacy decision where one exists, and otherwise standard contractual clauses. The host is not yet published.
Where the law gives you the right, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and you may object to a processing. In Hong Kong: access and correction. In California: to know, to delete, to correct, and not to be treated differently for using those rights. Write to the contact page. We aim to answer within 30 days, and always within the statutory deadline.
You may complain to the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data in Hong Kong (pcpd.org.hk), the CNIL (cnil.fr), the data protection authority in your European Economic Area country, or the California Privacy Protection Agency.
